CERAL KILLERS -- sugary corn cereal

 The once-cheerful aroma of sugary cornflakes now mingles with the metallic tang of fear and the sickeningly sweet scent of impending doom. A lone spoon rests beside the bowl, its polished surface reflecting the distorted image of a lurking shadow. The air crackles with the whispered promise of a grisly breakfast.
